The RadioScape 42-day Off-air Recorder is a highly featured recording system which allows multiple simultaneous reviews of the recorded content at multiple distributed sites.

It is a legislative requirement in some countries for all broadcasters to record their audio (and associated PAD and non-PAD data) programs off-air and store them for up to 42 days.

The RadioScape 42-day Off-air Recorder provides just such capabilities, being able to record and review the entire contents of a DAB ensemble over a 42 day period.

It is a highly featured recording system which allows multiple simultaneous reviews of the recorded content at multiple distributed sites. Selected content may then be
recorded as a separate file for later playback and review.

Being designed as a Client / Server device allows the 42 day recorder to be accessed by up to 32 different remote users simultaneously. This allows staff in different departments and locations to review the recorded content at will.

The unit records all sub-channels on an ensemble simultaneously including all Programme Associated Data (PAD) and data channels. It uses an external NTP service to ensure that all recordings are synchronised to the user’s local time-base. The recording is updated once per day to delete the oldest 24 hour record while still maintaining a full 42 day history.
