Seamless ETI Switch (1TH-ETIS)
The RadioScape Seamless ETI Switch selects one of two ETI input streams to produce a single output data stream. Input selection may be automatic, where the stream with the lowest error rate is selected, or manual.
This allows automatic back-up switching between Ensemble Multiplexers, or the use of redundant circuits to transport ETI data between multiplexer and transmitter sites. The unit automatically time-aligns the incoming streams, thus allowing seamless switching even if the incoming streams have a relative delay between them, for instance a land line and a satellite or microwave link. The output data is duplicated to two output connectors for maximum flexibility.
