RadioScape On Line Access

Almost from the outset of Broadcast Digital Radio Services in the UK, RadioScape has been intimately involved in the entire process from presenting the (Analogue or Digital) source signal at the studio, through the Multiplex and on through the Transmitter Network and finally to the ETI/EDI and DAB RF Monitoring equipment and systems.
Initially, this involvement was in developing the tools, equipment and systems for its growing Global Client base using RadioScape's ever increasing range of Eureka 147 based products.
As a result of this close involvement in the industry and the unparalleled knowledge base that grew up in the company, RadioScape was increasingly requested to share and expand the knowledge and to develop services in addition to the products and hardware that had initially been its focus.
The increasing number of services in this area has been enabled by RadioScape's innovative and ground breaking Software Defined and IP implemented Architecture across its product range.
In essence, RadioScape's design enables its equipment and systems deployed around the globe and serving Eureka 147 Broadcasts to be remotely monitored and controlled either by their own staff and operational centres, or under the expert operation of RadioScape's expert and experienced personnel.
As with RadioScape's Equipment portfolio, RadioScape's Broadcast Services are flexible and easily scaled ranging from the entry level “ROLA” (RadioScape On Line Access), to the all embracing “FMDN” (Fully Managed Digital Network)"ROLA": This service is implemented where a client wishes to establish and maintain its own Eureka 147 system, but to be able to call on RadioScape's expertise to remotely connect to and diagnose suspected fault conditions on that Network.
ROLA delivers an enhanced level of support to the Network / Multiplex operator and removes the necessity for them to train their staff to the level that may be required to deliver the full range of "on-site" technical backup.
ROLA requires a simple network access that can be left open to RadioScape or implemented when the operator requires RadioScape to have the ability to interrogate and investigate the system to identify faults.
This may be to pinpoint faulty equipments, system elements or bugs, or to scrutinise it to hone in on possible operator setup errors.
ROLA delivers a swift and high level response to boost the operator's ability to identify and overcome problems on their RadioScape based digital Radio Systems without having the ongoing high overheads usually associated with such a quality of cover.
