Mobile TV is one of the hottest technology areas with millions of potential subscribers around the world. RadioScape is the only provider of end-to-end DAB/DAB-IP and T-DMB solutions and provides the technology for the BT Movio Mobile TV service in the UK. It is also used in over thirteen Mobile TV broadcasting installations in China.

Leading provider of Mobile TV broadcasting installations
RadioScape has used its world class expertise in Digital Radio to provide solutions for Mobile TV based on the DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast – Eureka 147) standard. This enables Mobile TV and Digital Radio to be received in the same mobile device which has proved very popular. RadioScape’s Head-End broadcast system and receiver systems have been used in many trials around the world to develop standards within WorldDMB, demonstrate variants and then provide commercial equipment for the network rollout.

Mobile TV
RadioScape’s Software Defined Digital Radio technology is used in the Virgin Lobster 700 MTV phone. RadioScape has the most cost effective Mobile TV solutions on the market today which combines both the DMB demodulation and Audio/Video processing on the same platform.

Hong Kong MTV Research & Development Centre
RadioScape opened a new Development Centre in Hong Kong in mid 2006 specifically to accelerate the development of solutions for this exciting new area. The company is leveraging its expertise in end-to-end Digital Radio solutions, Mobile TV broadcasting and Software Defined functionality to create multi-standard Mobile TV receiver solutions.

Supporting other standards
DMB is the solution of choice today in many countries because the spectrum is already available. RadioScape intends to support other Mobile TV standards when appropriate by using its Software Defined Digital Radio approach.
